Eternity Ring
We are beyond thrilled with our stunning eternity ring. After trying on numerous rings and not having a clear idea of what we wanted, we met Rob and immediately felt so comfortable and confident in the design and product he would produce. Rob took the time to learn our family story and imbued that into the design. Every detail was meticulously thought out from the selection of the diamonds to the size and feel of the ring so it would both fit in and enhance my existing wedding and engagement rings. Every time we look at my ring, we not only love the sparkle but love how it truly represents the occasion of our 25th wedding anniversary.

Dear Rob,

Custom Tanzanite Ring
Having no clear idea of what I wanted in a ring, except to have a setting that would bring out the best in the stone, I went to see Rob Sawtell at UMUN jewellery studio in Beecroft.
Rob I found incredibly helpful, his ideas and design were more than I could have imagined. From the initial consult right through to the end product there was consultation and discussion. The end product is fabulous, the design, workmanship and how the stone sits, is just beautiful, the ring is all about the stone and compliments the stone fully.

Family Heirloom Remodel
This is a very special, precious opal ring.
When I look at it on my hand I am connected to thoughts of my grandfather and uncle.
My grandfather escaped to Lightning Ridge and mined buckets and buckets of opals. This opal he gave to my uncle, who in turn had it set in a brooch for his wife, my aunt. Both these 'big' men in my life have passed and I was given the brooch. Now a brooch, especially set in gold, is not something that I would wear. From past experience, I knew that I could trust the people at UMUN to come up with a beautiful solution to give me a piece of jewellery that would make the opal accessible to me.
I am very thankful that Rob and the UMUN team have done such a beautiful job of bringing the memories of my grandfather and my uncle into days I choose to wear it. My heart smiles whenever the opal's coloured light catches my attention. I shall always treasure this special ring in its pretty rose gold setting.

Engagement and Wedding Ring Remodel
Rob at UMUN was given the job of replacing a sapphire that had fallen out of my engagement ring. After much discussion on the availability of sapphires it was decided to go ahead and redesign my ring due to difficulty in sourcing a sapphire of the right colour and shape. He listened to me on how I wanted to maintain the ambiance of the original ring and that I needed to incorporate the two original baguette diamonds. We discussed what sapphire to use and there was complete consultation throughout before settling on the one I liked. He submitted a number of designs for me to consider and talked through the different concerns I had until I was happy and confident in the design. The ring was duly made and the workmanship was superb and the finished product is all that my husband and I would have wanted. I would highly recommend Rob at UMUN and I look forward to getting my next piece of jewellery from there.
